This photo (from John Oxley Library/State Library of Queensland - via Eddie Coates) shows a Simmonds Spartan which may be VH-UMP(c/n28).Possibly at Brisbane, date of photo not known . The small logo on the cowling says "Sky Travel". Any confirmation(or otherwise) of this is welcome.
THe photo above appeared in Flight in 1930 showing the first ski-equipped Spartan N43 (c/n35).The aircraft later became LN-ABG.

There is also a problem with the registration CF-AEE -apparently allocated to an intended Spartan
for Dominion Airways in 1929.
It is possible that the aircraft may have been the spare fuselage imported to fix CF-ABC,
or might it have been a completely new aircraft. Any information very welcome.
This ticket for a joyride was issued by Spartan Airlines or United Airways at Stanley Park Blackpool in August 1935.Can anyone shed any further light on this?(From Keith Wigglesworth)
